Rasipuram is a Municipality in the district of Salem in India which was constituted from 1.10.1948. It is situated 25 Km from Salem and 25 Km from Namakkal district. This is rather a small village with the population engaged in agriculture and handloom weaving. The educational level of this village is of an average of 8th standard. The people here speak only Tamil.
